AO: The Wreck

When: 08/19/2020

QIC: Grease Monkey

PAX (14): Cutie, Squeegee, Sell Out, Windex, Smack Down, Grub, Navajo, One Call, Yankee, Juul, Meltdown, Ozzy, Turbine

Preamble:

Having just put in my usual monthly Q at the Wreck last week I assumed I was good until September. Well it seems someone put my name on the Q sheet again. Perhaps it was the same someone that alerted me that my name was in fact on the Q sheet for today. Maybe the same someone who stole part of a GM classic beatdown on Monday. And the same someone who fartsacked today (he must be dying). Well they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery so maybe time to return the favor.

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey over to the playground for some SSH, Imperial Walkers, Weed Pickers and Windmills. Then we grabbed some nice chunky coupons and headed over to the hill.

The Thang:

Malbec Mountain as I think it was once dubbed.

  • 7 burpees at the bottom
  • 15 curls with coupon at the top of the hill
  • 7 burpees at the top of the parking lot near the gym
  • back to top of hill for 10 Stone Mountains
  • Back down to bottom of hill

Repeato x 6.

Amazing how when leading an Aflac Q you feel compelled to throw out a few ‘C’mon Juul’s (I miss Rusty; no offense Juul) And with Aflac nowhere to be found it presented a unique opportunity for someone else to be crowned king of the mountain. Squeegee, Windex and Cutie seemed intent on taking the title.  Never have we finished with so much time remaining.

A few rounds of Mary until the Six rolled in then we redeposited coupons and headed back to the playground for a double shot of Morning Call.

Back to the flag with enough time for a few more rounds of Mary.

COT:

YMM on Saturday.

Sell-Out encouraged the PAX to check out the other AOs in the region. Good way to mix it up. YHC made a few shameless plugs for #Brimstone.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Whether intentionally or by surprise, always an honor to lead this group of men.
