The gloom started out ok, but rain was inevitable. YHC decided to take us as far away from the flag as possible, because running from lightning is great motivation. No lightning came though, just a little rain. 9 strong, would’ve been 10 if Pony Boy knew where we went! The PAX always impresses with effort and hard work. Here it is:
Mosey around the parking lot for warmup with Cotton Pickers x 10, Hill Billy’s x 10, and SSH x 15. Quick warmup so we can get over to the rock pile.
The intro to Stink B.O.M.B.S. is that they’re the same fun as regular bombs, only twice the reps. Partner up for 100 Burpees – The PAX were glad we started here! Partner did 25 LBC’s at the top of the hill and then back down to trade places. 200 OverHead Presses and 25 Plank Jacks, 300 Merkins (PAX will be feeling the chest for a day or two) and 25 Reverse LBC’s, then skipped to S for Squats x 400 and 25 Mountain Climbers.
The rain came in halfway through, but it didn’t slow anyone down!
It was great to have Mufasa with us this morning, and hearing about GoRuck. Respect! These beatdowns are always a reminder of how much sharper we can make one another, so it’s a good idea to be intentional about doing that.
