As a end to my site Q duties, I thought it fitting to lead a classics Squeegee workout in the roundabout. A nice crowd of PAX gathered by 5:30. I lead an extended version of the disclaimer and fought off the Aflac wannabees to start the workout.
Lead the group with a mosey down to the bottom roundabout. We did a warm up of:
All the PAX were circled up in the roundabout. PAX would bear crawl clockwise out of the roundabout and exit with 10 Lunges. They would then run down to the end of the street and do the next exercise on the list. After the exercise, they would do 10 standing leaps and then run back to the roundabout. Enter doing bear crawls and exit on the other side with 10 lunges. Repeat, repeat and repeat.
One side of the street had leg workouts while the other side had core and merkins choices.
Lots of sweat and chatter.
Beer Mile next Saturday at 4PM. Look on the challenge channel for details.
Very grateful for the past year. There were certainly personal and community challenges but this group helped me finish my first marathon(after my broken foot) and we also saw the expansion of F3 in our area from members of the Wreck. Let’s all remember to take advantage of this group of men and the strength and power they can add to our lives.
