The faithful started pulling into The Norseman AO about 5 minutes early. The gloom held much moisture and not much cool. It was shaping up to be another hot one in The Alpha and the sun was not up yet.
So as 0530 rolled around the 3 Musketeers rolled out. In search of vulcanized rubber!
Mosied out the main drag towards the secret (don’t tell anyone) cut through to St. Francis where donuts of rubber awaited. We stopped behind the football field for:
We continued our mosey up past the softball field to the football practice field and donuts!
Each PAX selected a sugar coated…. errr, dew coated donut of vulcanized rubber to flip. Flip 3 times then drop for 5 merkins. Take that bad boy to the other end of the football field.
We stopped for a “rest” about half way and ran down and back then returned the way we came with 3 flips and 5 merkins, BUT, if you were in the lead after 3 flips you perform 20 merkins.
After returning the donuts to their home re mosied back behind the practice field and back to the football field/track.
Lt. Dan around the track. We went to 4/16 before YHC noticed the time was drawing short.
Mosey back to the flag and time for Mary:
Prayers for safe travels for our traveling regulars, prayers for healing. Prayers for our leadership.
Nice to have a new regular, Groupie, out with the Norsemen! Missing our site Q Nacho as he travels to the Holy Land. And missing Stu as he is out in Phoenix, AZ.
It’s never a bad morning when you get to start it in the gloom!
