26 strong PAX posted to get Wrecked in Roswell. YHC had teased “teddy bears and puff balls” for the morning … was at least 80% true. A hearty welcome to our 4 FNGs – Thumper, Highpoint, Booter and Bird Dog. Here’s how things went down.
Mosey up to the lot by the football fields. Disclaimer and a quick Warmup consisting of IC SSH, cottonpickers and hill billies.
The Thang
Mosey out onto the football field and circle up for a couple minutes of grass drills (front-back-go = merkins, sit-ups, run in place) to get the heart pumping. All PAX line up on the goal line for bear crawl BOMBS suicides. Bear crawl to the 10 yd line, 10 burpees, run back to goal line, 10 SSH. Bear crawl to the 20, 20 overhead claps, run back to goal line, 20 SSH. Continue in similar sequence for merkins and big boy situps … up to bear crawl to the 50, 50 squats, run back to goal line, 50 SSH. Mary for the six.
Mosey back out to the parking lot and all PAX find a spot on the building walls. Balls to the wall and hold as long as you can. After dropping, air chair and cheer on remaining PAX. T-claps to Miller Time for holding out the longest. Mosey over to the grassy hill overlooking the baseball field for elevens starting with 1 burpee at the bottom and 10 4-count scissors kicks at the top. Had to cut short around the 7-8 burpee cycle due to time and mosey back to the flag. Finish with some IC mary … LBCs, dollies and box-cutters.
