Doracide

When: 06/14/16

QIC: Nacho Libre

PAX (): Big South, Nacho, Crack, Baby Face, Hickory, Law Dog, Peanut, Ponch, The Dab, Foghorn, Geordi, Mash, Mercury, DC2, Swiper, Wing Man

16 made it out to the Rubicon to experience Doracide with their brothers. The weather this month has been rinse and repeat. When it feels like a steam bath at 5:30 a.m. you know the Georgia summer is in full effect.

Warm up

Mosey over to the top parking lot:
11 SSH
12 Cotton Pickers
13 Imperial Walkers
14 Plank Jacks

The Thang

Mosey form the top parking lot down to the Field of Dreams. The Pax make a quick stop back by the flag to grab a few disc. There was some mumble chatter about how the Pax was going to play frisbee…little did they know that the fun and games were over.

On to Doracide. Often YHC will plan a workout and not really think about how hard or easy the workout will be. When planning for Doracide I was unsure how challenging it would be. Half way through the first group of suicides YHC realized it would be brutal.

Dora + Burpee Sucides = Doracide

Five disc were placed on the foul line of the field of dreams. Each disc represented a destination for the suicides. Uses the same concept as the regular Dora, 2 PAX work together to reach cumulative exercise goals of 100, 200, 300, and 400 reps. The difference comes in the sprint, instead of running 100 yards you will do suicides instead. 1 PAX member will execute as many reps as possible while PAX 2 sprints to disc 1, 1 burpee, sprint back to partner, touch, sprint to disc 2, 2 burpees, sprint back to partner, touch, all the way to five.

100 Makhtar N’Diayes, 200 Merkins, 300 Plank Jacks, and 400 LBC’s.

Back to the Flag for a few minutes of Mary.

COT

Praise – Foghorn’s baptism on Sunday at North Point. F3 Alpha had a strong showing of support. Great story! June also seems to be anniversary month! DC2 13 years strong, Law Dog, Swiper, and Mash all are celebrating anniversaries this Month.
Prayers for the Victims and Families of the Orlando Night Club Shooting. Also, keep our great nation in our prayers as we go through the troubling times.
