M.A.S.T.E.R.S Tribute

AO: The Rubicon

When: 04/16/2019

QIC: Zima

PAX (9): MillerTime, Mayhem, Cookie, Devito, Manila, Pinkie, Pitstop, Lumbergh, Zima

Preamble:

When I set out to lead a Masters themed beatdown I though it would be fun to do exercises either named after the Masters or the champ Tiger Woods.  The Exicon told me otherwise when it came to finding exercises starting with “O” All exercises will have rep counts of 13 each. Sounded like an easy enough plan…

Warm-O-Rama:

As the final PAX came in on almost 2 wheels, it was time to mosey to east parking lot by the pool.  Warm-O-rama:  SSH, Weedpicker, Hillbilly, Mountain Climbers. – All 13 reps.

The Thang:

Mosey to planters to begin the M.A.S.T.E.R.S. tribute BD.  Most exercises were done in ALPHA count with the rep count being 13. Unless of course you were Devito who needed extra clarification on how many reps to do. (I should have brought my muzzle today) After each exercise was completed, each PAX ran towards the dog park circle, came back and went to the next exercise. Rinse and repeat until last exercise was completed.

Merkins

American Hammers

Scorpion Dry Docks

T-Bombs

Everest

Russian Dips

San Antonio Shuffle

Once we finished up, I felt the ample amount of mumble chatter (mostly from Devito) warranted a BTTW before we moved on to our next set of exercises.  All PAX held BTTW until I said down.  Then it was time to mosey to the rock pile.  On the way, the king of poking the bear sure hoped the Q had something else in store that was good.  So before we got to the rock pile we halted half-way through the parking lot.  All PAX lined up facing west toward F.O.D. Then it was AYG to the end of the parking lot.

Once at the rock pile, it was time to get a lifting coupon.  PAX circled up and called out an exercise that consisted of some form of either 13 or 26 reps depending on who you ask and what “count” you are using. After each exercise all PAX rotated to the rock to their left.  It JUST so happened when it was time for Devito’s turn I landed on his rock – which he decided to call Bonnie Blairs.  Once we finished going around the circle it was time to head back to the flag.
