It’s not a party unless something gets broken…….

AO: The Bridge

When: 04/09/2021

QIC: Dinghy

PAX (5): McGuire, Sugar, Birdie, Wingnut

Preamble:

Given that much of Atlanta was downrange for spring break, YHC thought it would be a good thing to create more of a party atmosphere for the BD. So….cranked the tunes (radio friendly version of “Wobble”), got the team cranked up, and off we went…..
Note: If you don’t have a coupon, or yours breaks during the event, BD can also be accomplished by using a chair or rock (Good thinking, Sugar!). Also – Watch those coupons from Lowe’s, second one in 2 weeks died on me mid-BD (ironically both times I was Q-ing)

Warm-O-Rama:

10 Weed Pickers
10 Windmills
10 Hillbillies
10 Moroccan Night Clubs
15 SSH

Mosey around the central Bridge greenspace/courtyard

The Thang:

Pax did ladders of the following exercises, going up in increments of 5 reps per cycle, then coming down 5 after 20 (5-10-15-20-15-10-5). Each cycle was accompanied my a lap around the greenspace/courtyard:

Burpee
Squat Thruster
Coupon Swing
Bent Row
Merken
Curl
Skull Crusher
Good Morning
Goblet Squat
BB Situp

COT:

Prayed for Birdie’s daughter for safe travels, along with our brothers going to and fro. Prayed for brothers un-named with health issues. And prayed for our healing and unity for our country.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

As this Q was somewhat last minute, I learned the lesson that simplicity with ruthless execution is an effective way to run a BD. Taking the example of some of the other Q’s who apply this principle, you can run a good BD without having to get too complicated. Variety is the spice of life (or so I’ve been told), but it’s also good to keep it simple. For the hardy souls who joined me, I was glad to lead you in our effort to get better, stronger, faster……
