Pre-Easter Beatdown w/Dora’s Neighbor and Sister

When: 03/31/2018

Where: Widowmaker

The Pax: Do Si Do, Boomer, Spandex, Scar, Sneakers, Gingivitis, HaHa

QIC: Special K

With chilly temps the day before Easter, we had 8 have some fun with Dora’s neighbor and sister rather than take off for Spring Break.

Warm-Ups: We took a quick trail run with BLIMPS at designated intervals on the way to the top of the  Widowmaker.  5 Burpees, 10 Lunges, 15 Imperial Walkers, 20 Merkins, 25 Plank Jacks, 30 Squats.  Once at the top we did a bit more warm up. STH, Windmills, Hillbillies.

The Thang: Since we were at the top of the widow maker; we might as well take trip down and back up.  We did this with a little Burpee Catch Me If You Can Indian Run.  Once down and back,  a short mosey to the restrooms above the field for some Ascending Testicles.  We partnered up and one partner held an Al Gore while the other performed 10 derkins at 15 degree angle against the wall, 10 derkins at 45 degrees, and then ten derkins/or ten count at full balls-to-the-wall.  Flapjack and then rinsed and repeated for good measure.

Down to the soccer field to meet Dora’s nasty neighbor for Bear 123s.  Partnered up again to bear crawl to the 18 and crawl bear back to complete 100 Merkins, 200, LBCs, 300 Squats.  It’s amazing how cold the field can be on the hands during bear crawls.  This was evident when HaHa later asked Do Si Do if he could stick his hand in his arm pit.

Up to the walls for a little Aiken Legs: 20 each of step-ups, box jumps, lunges, and split-jacks.  Also a few dips to not cheat our triceps.

Quick trip to the rock pile to grab a coupon and then back to the soccer field for Doracides.  Partnered up.  One partner working on 100 curls, 200 skull crushers, and 300 shoulder presses, while the other did suicides to the goal line, 18, and midfield with 1, 2, and 3 burpees respectively.

Mary: Back to the flag for some quick Mary.

COT:  Prayers to those who were not able to join because of injury.  Thoughts and prayers to Gingivitis as he is about to complete his first Go Ruck.

Praise for Boomer’s son who after a night of praise music and faith, had a wonderful moment of prayer as he felt god speaking to him as he arrived home with his family.
