After an exhausting, yet rewarding weekend with almost 1000 middle school students at Woodstock City Church, I was honored to lead you guys in the gloom this morning. And considering the focus of our weekend was “Leadership,” today’s timing couldn’t have been more appropriate!
A mark of a great leader is meeting people where they are (not leaving them there, but meeting them). This is what made Jesus such an amazing leader!
One of the questions we left with our group of 8th graders is a question I’ll leave for us to ponder as we consider leading:

When an individual finished, they circled back and met the others where they were to finish as a pack.
We finished with 1 final lap of an Indian run and headed back to the flag with no time on the clock.
