In support of a highly motivated and determined DefConII to climb the Grand Tetons later this year, the Rubicon PAX has pledged to do what they can to help get him to the Summit and back down again.
Temp in the mid 50s, breeze out of the West and a slight mist of rain made for near perfect conditions for this activity.
What: 4 PAX gathered at Riverside Park in Roswell for a Ruck. This is what happened:
Heading West for 5 minutes the march came to a halt – the trail was flooded and the squad was turned around, not wanting to ford. Head East! Mumble chatter about many various topics brought us within range of DCII’s base, but time was against us, so about face and take it back to the parking lot at Riverside Park at a cadence of around 160 steps a minute.
The 50 minute ruck took us back to where we started from, and DC2, No-See-Um and Foghorn dropped to continue engaging in the Mucho Chesto challenge – 2 rounds of 5 sets of various Merkins.
DC2 closed us out in prayer.
All looking forward to meeting at the Hooch Wednesday, see you at the Rubicon tomorrow!
