With the big NCAA game the night prior to the beatdown, I decided the outcome of the game would decide our work the next AM. Arms & abs for Alabama or Buckeye Bombs. Arms & abs is was … decisively.
Quick run up to the covered pavilion for IC SSH, imperial walkers and arm circles. Then over to the large parking lot for a 4 corners of squats, lunges, sumo squats and reverse lunges. 20 reps each.
Fully warmed up, we headed down onto the football field for the main course. line up on the goal line. Run to each 10 yard marker shuttle run style for an exercise, rep count to match the yard marker. 10, 30 and 50 were to crunchy frogs. 20 and 40 were mercans. Each return to the goal line included some Roll Tide Burpees (a burpee with a barrel roll at the bottom of the mercan). Rep count to match the first digit of the yard you just returned from. Work across the full football field to the far 10 yard line. First ones done, go find the 6’s and partner them to finish. With all complete, we ran over to the small track to keep up our work on the arms. 11’s with dips at one end of the track and dry docks on the far side. Had to call time close to the end to get back to the flag on time. OYO American hammers at the flag for the 6.
